The Uniview UAC-D122-APF28M is a 2MP LightHunter PoC fixed IR dome analog camera made for traditional coax/DVR (BNC) systems—not an IP network camera. It outputs TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS, so it’s a practical choice when you’re upgrading an existing analog install and want better image quality without re-cabling to Ethernet. Uniview also notes RG59/SYV-75-3/SYV-75-5 coax are recommended, and PoC power is achieved when used with Uniview PoC series XVRs.
For image and coverage, it delivers 1080P (1920×1080) and uses a 2.8mm lens with a 101.5° horizontal viewing angle—great when you want a wide, “see the whole area” view from a dome form factor. In low light, it uses LightHunter monitoring with high-sensitivity sensor plus an IR-cut filter with auto-switch (ICR), and it has one IR illuminator with an illumination distance of 30m.
This model is also built to be installer-friendly on coax jobs: 3D noise reduction for cleaner video, digital defog, 180° horizontal/vertical flip, and an OSD configuration menu (including 11 languages) for quick setup at the recorder. It includes a built-in microphone for high quality audio transmission via coaxial cables, with Uniview specifying that the audio function is available when used with their PoC series XVRs.
Physically, it’s a tough dome designed for harsher locations, with IP67 water/dust resistance and IK10 vandal resistance, plus 3-Axis adjustment for clean aiming. Power is DC 12V(±25%)/PoC.
