The Uniview UAC-B122-APF28LM is a 2 Megapixel LightHunter PoC fixed IR bullet analog camera designed for traditional coax-based DVR systems. Instead of Ethernet and network configurations, this model connects over BNC coaxial cable and supports TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS formats — so it’s a straightforward upgrade for sites that already use analog video infrastructure but want sharper video without upgrading wiring.
Built around a 1/2.9″ high-sensitivity CMOS sensor and a 2.8 mm fixed lens, it produces 1080p (1920 × 1080) video with a wide horizontal field of view (~101.5°) — ideal for capturing broad scenes such as drives, yards, porches, or entrance gates with fewer blind spots.
For low-light performance, the camera uses LightHunter technology and two IR illuminators rated up to 40 meters. The IR-cut filter with auto-switch (ICR) automatically shifts between day and night modes so you get natural color by day and detailed black-and-white video at night.
This bullet housing includes practical features that installers appreciate: 180° horizontal and vertical flip lets you mount it upside-down or in tight angles and still get the correct image orientation, while the OSD configuration menu (with 11 languages) lets you tweak settings directly through the DVR interface. A built-in microphone allows audio capture over the same coax connection when paired with compatible PoC recorders.
With PoC (Power over Coax) support, you can run both video and power over the same coax cable when using Uniview PoC-capable recorders, reducing installation time and complexity. The camera’s IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof housing makes it durable for outdoor use, and built-in surge protection helps guard signal and power lines from electrical spikes
