The Uniview NVR824-128-R-IM2-8G is a professional network video recorder built for medium to large surveillance systems. It supports up to 128 IP cameras and can handle video from multiple cameras at once, making it ideal for businesses, office buildings, retail stores, parking lots, and multi-location installations.
This NVR supports popular video compression formats—Ultra 265, H.265, and H.264—to help reduce storage requirements while still capturing clear video. It offers multiple display outputs, including two HDMI ports and one VGA port, with HDMI capable of showing video in crisp 4K (3840×2160) resolution for large monitors or TVs. The independent HDMI and VGA outputs allow different live views simultaneously.
With 24 hard drive bays and configurable RAID storage options (including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60), this recorder can store large amounts of video while providing data protection and redundancy. Many professional systems include optional redundant power supply support for increased reliability.
Additional features include hot-swappable drives for easy maintenance, miniSAS interfaces for high-speed storage connectivity, 12V power output support, and ANR technology to improve recording reliability if network connections temporarily drop. The recorder also supports cloud upgrades and N+1 Hot Spare for improved uptime and system resilience.
