A sturdy, cost effective, pad mount, gooseneck pedestal for mounting Aiphone JO-1FD surface mount devices at car height on a 6″ curb. (See “Vehicle Height Chart”.) Most often installed for automatic gate entry and exit, parking lot, and perimeter access applications. Includes a face plate with Aiphone JO-1FD hole pattern, heavy duty base plate, and a sliding cover plate to hide the mounting bolts that secure the base. Made using heavy duty .120″ wall tube and designed to withstand abuse from vandals or Mother Nature. This gooseneck pedestal is bent with a tight 6″ center radius using a state-of-the-art mandrel bending die in which the curve is formed uniformly without collapsing the underside of the neck. Furthermore, this pedestal is washed with a phosphoric acid, rinsed, and dried to eliminate contaminants, grease, or rust, then powder coated with an outdoor rated TGIC polyester finish with UV protectant to help promote longevity in any weather condition. Each pedestal is wrapped in foam packaging and boxed individually for safe shipping.
